Sprout your way to good gut health

In winter it is often hard to do what I love best, gardening and growing my own vegies. Without a greenhouse it is almost impossible so I looked for alternatives and thought I'd try sprouting. Sprouting is really just growing baby sprouts from seeds on your kitchen bench. They grown within 7 days and they are delicious, fresh and so good for you. Give it a try. Even if you do not have a green thumb you can still do this. A bag of seeds lasts forever.

Here's the kit I bought to start with. The jar has a strainer on it and an angled lid so you can drain out the water.

Just 2 days after I started and you can see the little sprouts starting to grow. Very exciting.

I'll post a picture at 7 days and show you how they went.
