The journey towards gut health can be hard and full of unknowns. Gut health is a very new area in terms of what we actually know about our gut so I, as a microbiologist and dietitian, can be with you on that journey and together we can find out what's best for your gut. 

If you want a gut health coach who thinks outside the box, and who has actually worked with bacteria and other microorganisms, then you've come to the right place. I use a natural approach to help you get your gut right. No fancy expensive treatments just the right food and fibre balance and individual guidance. 

I am a Gut Health Coach but also a Dietitian (MND) and Microbiologist (PhD) who continually stays updated with the current research in this area. In my private practice, I have helped many clients with their gut issues and they often say "Why didn't I do this 20 years ago". 

I have developed a 3-month Gut Health Coaching program that I can personalise to suit you. If you have a medical condition and you are not sure what I can do for you, just send me an email and we can chat. It can be a lonely journey but I'm here to guide you on that journey. I've been there myself so I am no stranger to gut issues. 

What does your 3-month Gut Health Coaching program give you?

  • Your first session (1 hour) will be a getting to know your gut session so I can understand your story and where you want to go.

  • Each month you will get a 1-hour 1-on-1 session with me to go over your progress and to troubleshoot any barriers you may have encountered. You can do this over the phone or via secure video conference. 

  • Email assistance throughout your 3 months. It’s easy to forget to ask something during our monthly chats as there’s so much to talk about so you can email me with any questions and I'll get back to you asap.

  • I will email you every week to see how you are going and to give you activities to make sure you are on track. If you are having any problems or hurdles, together we will develop strategies to overcome them and move forward.

  • Access to my knowledge and experience in gut health. I am an experienced Dietitian (MND, APD) and Microbiologist (PhD) who works in gut health every day. Although I am qualified, I also like to think outside the box. My up-to-date research knowledge comes in very handy at times. 

  • Assistance with your the genetic report from your No 2’s genetic analysis. I worked in genetic research for a number of years and can help you understand your stool sample analysis if you need it. It’s good to know what microorganisms are in your gut, and which microorganisms might be missing from your gut.

  • Free information and resources about hot to naturally get your gut bugs to help you on your journey.

  • Great ideas for recipes to suit you and time-saving ideas to help you get the healthiest version of you.

  • My complete and undivided attention and understanding. I’m a great listener. We are all different, and I know from my years of experience that all our guts are different! I am here to listen to your personal journey.

  • At the end of the 3 months, we will have a final consultation to summarise what has happened during your journey and to answer any further questions you may have. Then you will be on your way to naturally good gut health.

What you can expect from me:

  • I love to hear about your poo or your No.2’s. Your No.2’s tell me so much about your health. I want to hear all about them so you will need to keep a record so we can talk about them 😊. You will have to get used to talking about them.

  • Guidance to sift through all the misinformation that you have found out there in the media and popular press.

  • Motivation and straight forward advice and information related to your gut health.

  • If you have a chronic disease or other medical condition I can personalise strategies to best suit you. I am a dietitian as well as a microbiologist so I have knowledge, understanding and experience from all aspects of gut health.

  • I have excellent results in weight loss so if that is one of your goals, I can help you here as well.

 

What do I expect from you?

  • To be empowered and take responsibility for your health. I am here to guide you and give you the information you need to help yourself, but it is your journey.

  • Make your health a priority.

  • To be open-minded and not to believe everything you read on the internet.

  • To question anything and everything you don’t understand. You are paying for a service from me and I want you to embrace this new information about your gut. I don’t expect you to know everything and I love to talk, so take advantage 😊.

What if I need longer than 3 months?

If you need longer than 3 months we can discuss how long you wish to extend for and have a plan to get you where you want to be. 

 

How long will it take to see changes?

That depends on you and your gut issues. We’ll discuss this in your first session and talk about our plan for your gut. If you take on board the suggestions I give you, your gut should be feeling much better within 2-3 months. Everyone is different so it’s often a work in progress.

 

What if I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome?

I am trained in Monash University's health practitioners FODMAP course and I have an abundance of experience with all sorts of IBS. If you do have undiagnosed IBS we will need to sort that out first before we go any further. We can include this as a part of your 3-month program.

Do I need to get my No. 2’s genetically sampled?

No. If it’s something you want to do then I recommend Microba. Their reports and portal available to clients and to me (your coach) are marvellous! There’s has only been a few times when I have recommended that clients have their No. 2’s genetically sampled and that was because I knew, from their symptoms, that there was someone missing in their gut.
